Randen Line

The "Randen Line" of the Keifuku Electric Railroad is the only tram line remaining in Kyoto. The line between Shijo-Omiya (in downtown Kyoto) and Arashiyama opened in 1910, and the branch to Kitano opened in 1925. The main line has 13 stations and the branch has 9 stations (including the transfer station at Katabiranotsuji). The car roster is as follows:

  • 100 Series (101 - 106)
  • 300 Series (301)
  • 501 Series (501, 502)
  • 611 Series (611 - 616)
  • 621 Series (621 - 625)
  • 631 Series (631 - 633)
  • 21 Series (26, 27) (retro style)
  • 2001 Series (2001, 2002)
